Tech Lead / Systems Architect (Python / C# / Java)

We are seeking a versatile and highly capable Tech Lead / Systems Architect to join our team immediately. In this role, you will initially focus on internal systems, gaining a deep understanding of our Managed Service Provider (MSP) operations and core infrastructure. As an outsourcing and consulting partner, we do not have one specific client project lined up for you. Instead, you will be our technical anchor. We value strong communication, high work quality, and an exceptional ability to research and learn over matching a rigid checklist of skills. If you are someone we can count on to solve complex problems and lead technical directions, we want you on our team. WE WILL REQUEST A VOICE NOTE FOR THE SCREENING PROCESS. Requirements Technical Knowledge & Skills Required: • Backend Development: Proficiency in Python, C#, or Java (and the willingness to work across these ecosystems as client needs dictate). • Cloud Infrastructure: Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. • System Design: Proven track record of designing distributed systems, APIs, and database schemas. Soft Skills Required: • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Proactive and organized approach to project management. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting. • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality. • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: • Architecture & Project Initiation • Design robust system architectures for upcoming client projects, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. • Launch projects from scratch, making foundational decisions on tech stacks, project structures, and deployment pipelines. • Translate ambiguous client business requirements into concrete, production-ready technical roadmaps. • 🔍 Code & Infrastructure Auditing • Analyze and understand existing codebases and legacy infrastructure quickly. • Evaluate cloud infrastructure setups to identify bottlenecks, security risks, or optimization opportunities. • Bridge the gap between software development and infrastructure management. • 💼 Client Consulting & Internal Integration • Embed with our internal MSP team initially to understand our current infrastructure, tooling, and operational workflows. • Act as a technical consultant for clients, joining discovery calls to architect solutions that meet their specific needs. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other developers as client projects scale.
