We hire sharp minds, trust them fully, and measure success by real results, not noise. If you thrive in autonomy, challenge, and high ownership, you’ll love it here. This role is for you if you… • Get excited by taking ownership and figuring things out proactively • Thrive in a remote, async, fast-paced environment • Are striving to deliver impact, not just running tasks • Think in systems but execute with creativity • Are direct, collaborative, and have a growth mindset This role is NOT for you if you… • Need layers of process or someone to constantly tell you what to do • Prefer “business as usual” over change • Want a team where mediocre is okay • Have never worked remotely and think async means “lonely” • Are waiting for permission instead of taking initiative The work you’ll do… As a Senior Internal IT Engineer atPublitas, you’ll build and scale the internal technology foundation that enables our distributed teams to work securely, efficiently, and without friction. You’ll combine hands-on technical expertise with operational ownership and process thinking to improve the reliability and maturity of our internal IT environment. You will: • Own and continuously improve our internal IT landscape, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable day-to-day operations across endpoints, SaaS tooling, identity, and access management. • Drive operational maturity by creating structure, improving workflows, and reducing manual or reactive support work across the organization. • Lead and coordinate internal IT projects, from onboarding automation and device management to security improvements and tooling rollouts. • Act as a trusted technical partner for employees and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, prioritization, and follow-through across distributed teams. • Improve our security posture by strengthening access controls, endpoint management, compliance processes, and operational best practices. • Manage and optimize our SaaS ecosystem, balancing usability, security, cost-efficiency, and maintainability. • Create scalable internal processes and documentation that enable autonomy, consistency, and operational resilience as the company grows. • Contribute to company-wide operational readiness initiatives, including audits, compliance efforts, and business continuity improvements. What you bring… • 5+ years of experience in Internal IT, IT Operations, or Systems Administration within modern SaaS environments. • Strong experience with identity and access management, endpoint management, SaaS administration, and security best practices. • Hands-on experience managing distributed or remote-first environments. • Strong organizational and project coordination skills — you can independently drive initiatives from planning to execution. • A process-oriented mindset focused on scalability, automation, and operational clarity. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams. • The ability to balance hands-on execution with longer-term operational improvements. What We Provide to Help You Win… • A competitive salary • 25 vacation days + your local national holidays • A top-tier MacBook and remote-ready gear • Monthly wellness budget to invest in your health • Co-Working allowance • Events, training, or courses that directly and primarily contribute to your work at Publitas • Free books on Kindle and Audible • Free Publitas Swag (merchandise) At Publitas, we see AI as a core lever for performance, efficiency, and innovation. We expect all team members to actively use AI in their daily work to improve quality, speed, and output. Depending on the role, this ranges from effectively using AI tools in day-to-day workflows to designing and scaling AI-driven systems. We are not looking for candidates who are “AI-curious”; we look for people who already use AI to do better work and can demonstrate tangible impact. Originally posted on Himalayas
